Manages and evaluates the effectiveness and cost efficiency of Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site. Provides leadership in establishing strategic long-term and short term goals and objectives; reviews progress; adjusts priorities; and evaluate short-term goals and objectives; reviews progress; adjusts priorities; and evaluates results. Facilitates and provides leadership while coordinating the park's interdisciplinary projects, assuring that workload is anticipated and planned for, major coordination and approval requirements are met, and that all projects meet high professional standards for sustainability, safety, and universal access. Manages a diverse park/land management program that includes administration, natural and cultural resources, education and interpretation and facilities management. Develops and institutes new and innovative projects and programs to achieve strategic organizational goals. Cooperates with multiple partners to administer park programs, including Native American stakeholders. Actively participates in the development, nurturing and management of cooperative partnerships throughout the parks that assist in carrying out the mission of the National Park Service. Plays major role in maintaining ongoing partnerships, particularly with the park's major partners. Communicates effectively both orally and in writing with a wide range of stakeholders. Communicates effectively about complex and controversial policies, projects and priorities. Negotiates and influences others to solve problems and achieve results. This position is directly supervised by the High Plains Group superintendent, located 1.5 hours away at Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site. All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-04/22/2020-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement. Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect either full-time or 40 hours per week. If a part-time work schedule is reflected, the hours must be annotated to ensure proper crediting of specialized experience. To qualify for this position at the GS-12 grade level, you must possess the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
Experience:
At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as:
management or program specialist work directing cultural and natural resource programs, which includes providing direct and indirect supervision and oversight of staff, developing short- and long-range fiscal and operational planning, and partnering with a variety of federal, state, and local agencies. Experience:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
